Do I need to be a qualified teacher to apply for Elevate Tutoring?

No, you do not need a degree in teaching to tutor with Elevate. Our sessions are intended to be delivered by engaging university students who have recent experience with the subjects that they are tutoring.

Do I need to have any tutoring experience?

Experience tutoring is definitely helpful, but it is not a necessity to apply.

How much would I be required to work?

Minimum 2 days per week.

What are the ideal criteria for an Elevate tutor?

Elevate tutors are charismatic, engaging, and academically high performing university students. They need to have taken English, Maths, or Science at A- Level and ideally be studying something related to those subjects at university. Above all, Elevate is looking for people with a passion for sharing their knowledge to help others!
